BWAQ Swimmers Successes

I wanted to share the race updates of some of our swimmers.

Scott Lautman  is in Arizona at the S.C.A.R. Swim Challenge and has finished his first two swims and is onto the "Beast" 16 miles.  Scott is well prepared and will do awesome!  The S.C.A.R. Swim Challenge is a 4-day stage swim in Arizona in the Saguaro LakeCanyon LakeApache Lake, and Roosevelt Lake. At a total cumulative distance of 41.7 miles (66.9 km), it is one of the longest marathon swims in the world.
Thank you Zena and Jessi for representing BWAQ at Spring Nationals last weekend.  Zena's highlight of the meet was 1st place in the 100 back.  Check out Zena's results here.
Jessi's highlight was 9th place in the 200 Fly beating her seed time by 5 seconds!  Check out the rest of Jessi's swims
Congratulations to Janna Johnson who ran her first marathon over the weekend beating her goal time she had set for herself. 
Jason Brant did awesome at Wildflower and took 11th out of his age group of 171 men 40-44.
